The Farm

As you may have heard our farm is up and running and the kindergartners are having a ball playing in it. They are selling vegetables at the stand, feeding the horse, pig, and sheep, milking the cow and collecting eggs from the hen. 

They are also acting out the story Mrs. Wishy Washy. If you have never heard it ask your children to retell it to you. They will be bringing home Popsicle stick puppets this week to do a little puppet show for you! Encourage them to use story language and retell the story in order... 

Oh lovely mud!  said the cow.

Oh lovely mud! Said the pig. 

Oh lovely mud!  said the duck. 

Along came Mrs. Wishy Washy... Just look at you! she screamed! In the tub you go! In went the cow. Wishy washy wishy washy. Pig, duck...

That's better said Mrs. Wishy Washy and she went into the house. 

Away went the cow... Pig duck
